Our Story
We are so glad you have found us. Welcome to wayzgoose, the home of the British-made planner. We take great pride in designing and printing our range of planners and log books here in Yorkshire. Our products celebrate the joys of hobbies, track personal milestones and enhance the planning of everyday life.
Here at wayzgoose, we design with intention. We are very proud to be offering high-quality planners, crafted with sustainability in mind, in our Yorkshire workshop.
Not only are our planners and log books full of practical functionality features, but they also make such meaningful gifts, perfect for the hobbyist in your life or for gifting during special life milestones.
Every product has been designed to help you stay focused and achieve your goals, whether it is to improve your strength at the gym, not to lose the 'real you' whilst going through pregnancy, or to catch the biggest fish of your lifetime! Why wayzgoose?
Our wayzgoose workshop is based in Otley, West Yorkshire, the historic birthplace of the British printing revolution.
Home of the pioneering invention of the Wharfedale Press that revolutionised the printing techniques during the 19th century, shaping the modern publishing industry as we know it today.
Our brand name honours our town's rich publishing history, and we are proud to continue its legacy by designing and printing premium British-made planners.
A wayzgoose was at one time an entertainment given by a master printer to his workmen
each year on or around St Bartholomew's Day (24th August).
It marked the traditional end of summer and the start of the season of working by candlelight.
Later, the word came to refer to an annual outing and dinner for the staff of a printing works or the printers of a newspaper.
